I heart all kinds of music...I appreciate good lyrics and love how certain songs speak to me at different times in my life...I would guess the same for you...
Ok...I would like to try a little game...won't you participate??? I have a ton of songs on my playlist (located at the bottom of this page).
Each one could fall into one of these 4 categories for me:
A) Songs I want someone to sing to (about) me.
Example: Everything Else Disappears by Sister Hazel
B) Songs I want to sing to (about) someone (good or bad).
Example: Save up Your Tears by Cher
C) Songs that remind me of growing up.
Example: Every Little Step by Bobby Brown
D) Just plain fun.
Example: If I Had a Million Dollars by Barenaked Ladies
Now for the game:
My player is set on random. Click the arrow so you hear 3 songs. (you don't have to listen to the whole song if you don't want to :) ) Comment and let me know what 3 songs came up for you and tell me if they hold any special meaning to you. If there's a song that I don't have you think I should add, let me know!
Thanks for playing along! If you have a player try this and see what your readers think about your music choices :)

Okay, I'm playin!!!!!
1. Behind these Hazel Eyes by Kelly Clarkson. I actually had this as a ring tone when things were bad with me and my man a couple of years ago. Besides I have Hazel Eyes. Whenever I hear it it takes me back to that time.
2. Billie Jean by David Cook. Ok, first I think he does so much of a better job than Michael Jackson but that is just my opinion. Second, it really makes me think about back in the day and Michael Jackson's version. It takes me back to childhood. Glittler glove and all.
3. I Get Lost in Your Eyes by Debbie Gibson. Ok, now I'm back to Jr High and singing this to the boys I was dating if that's what you called it in Jr High. Man, it was one of my favorite songs back then.
Thanks for letting me go down memory lane with your songs. I usually when go onto your blog and then stay there for a bit to listen to the music. :-)

I'm in...
1. You & Me by Lifehouse - This song reminds me of my cousin Caleb, he seriously sounds just like that when he sings this song.
2. Somebody Like You by Keith Urban - This songs makes me think of Michael. He loves this song and when I hear it I actually hear Michael singing it in the car...that's how it plays out in my head.
3. Sweet Child of Mine by GNR - Wow...ok, this song just takes me back, way back to my granny's bathroom...I know that sounds funny, but when I was little my Uncle Lonney (who is 10 years older than me) would listen to music on his 8-track player in the bathroom while getting ready. When he was done, I would get my turn at the bathroom and I would pop in the GNR 8-track and rock out for a few minutes while looking in the mirror and singing with the hair brush. I was 10...it was cool.
