This week in the Citizen's Police Class we were given demonstrations by the Bomb Squad and the SWAT Team...So, we got to shoot guns!!! I have always wanted to learn how to shoot correctly and well...It has just been something that interests me...I don't plan on going hunting, but shooting at targets in a gun range is something I can definitely get addicted to...

Sara and I are bundled up and ready to learn some artillery skills...

Here I am shooting a Kimber 1911 at the Pepper Popper. I hit them all but the last one... (Yes, I know I am only about 3 feet away from the targets...baby steps, people)

Here I am shooting a semi-automatic something or other...I honestly don't remember the name...an M something...maybe...He has his hand on my back because of the awesome force that practically blew me to the ground...ok...not really, but my stance is probably totally wrong so he didn't want me to fall...and shoot something I shouldn't...

Now for the Charlie's Angel look...Here I have a pistol of some sort...gettin' my aim on...

This one is my favorite pic....with the swirled, thrown up in a half bun hair that means I am so serious about this...look at the earplugs...and eye protection...folks...we aren't playing games here...we mean business...

See the flames?....

Here is where the Bomb Squad blew something up...explosions(controlled ones) are fun...now I guess I understand a little more why boys love to shoot and blow stuff up...it is kinda exciting...

So...now added to my Life To Do List is to start shooting at a gun range...anyone wanna teach me?

Also if you haven't played my music game, please go check it out...Music to My Ears Game I'm really curious about everyone's responses...

You look like you are having so much fun. I'm sure you can find some cool guy to take you to the range. Then you can show him your Charlie's Angel pose!!! :-)

When I learned to shoot, the range dude said girls are naturally better shooters AND drivers! So there, boys! Just be glad you are not handling revolvers because, even with speed loaders, the .357 magnums would burn my hands when you hold the cylinder open to load. I have never shot a an automatic weapon tho, so how cool 4 ya! U probably shot a Mach One or whatever model is out now. Are you going to do precision driving? That rocks totally! What is coming up?

Oh, guns scare me. My dad used to make us go shooting with him when we were kids and I hated it!

I'm glad you had fun!
