So, Jeanie had this on her blog, and it was fun so here goes!

1. Pick 10 of your favorite movies.

2. Go to IMDb and find a quote from each movie.

3. Post them here for everyone to guess (if you know them all, please don't guess every one)

4. Strike it out when someone guesses correctly, and put who guessed it and the movie.

5. No Googling or IMDb-ing. That's cheating, and that's no fun!

Here are mine:

1. You rush a miracle man, you get rotten miracles. Kimberly The Princess Bride.

2. You have been weighed, you have been measured, and you have been found wanting. In what world could you possibly beat me? Aaron-A Knight's Tale

3. How can we be expected to teach children to learn how to read if they can't even fit inside the building? Rebecca Zoolander

4. Guglia? Oh, so Julia's last name's gonna be Guglia. Julia Guglia! That's funny! Rebecca The Wedding Singer

5. Just leave me with some ammo, a little water, some chips if you have them.

6. You look good wearing my future. fedac35 Some Kind of Wonderful

7. Tower, this is Ghost Rider requesting a flyby. Janice--Top Gun

8. Man who catch fly with chopstick accomplish anything. Sara The Karate Kid

9. There were no F names in the Bible so Ma named him Frankincense because he smelled so sweet. Kimberly Seven Brides for Seven Brothers--and she added, one of the best movies of all times!!!

10. Could you please get me some ice to numb her earlobes? Janice--Grease

Let me know your guesses!

So, I do not have a green thumb...I like to look at flowers, but don't have too much interest in knowing all about them...I did, however, go and purchase flowers (ok, one kind of flower--petunias--, but a lot of them), a garden hose (I did have one, but it cracked in half) and mulch...Within two evenings (it would have been done in one, but our weather people love to talk about stuff that never happens) it is complete. Ok, not complete, but rather close. I do have to finesse the mulching because it was rather dark when I spread it out. I cannot wait for the petunias to take over my flower bed...I hope I remember to water them...

So, I did watch the first American Gladiators(AG)...Didn't really watch the new one this year...but I did always wonder what my name would be on the show...Feather is unique, but doesn't have the same intimidating affect as Ice or Storm...I like the whole "bird" theme...what about Falcon, Talon or Roadrunner? Ok, I'll go with Falcon...So, my new AG name is Falcon...like a bird...Well, here I am at a jousting match: The announcer in perfect wannabe sportscaster tone says, "Falcon, gracefully steadies herself on the individual jousting tower. Her layman opponent is still struggling...This match may already be won..."

"The match has begun...look at Falcon's stance...she uses textbook fundamentals...look at the fear in the opponent's eye...
"Folks, you have witnessed history...after only a few swings, Falcon has been defeated! Not sure what happened here today fans, but wait..."
"Falcon struck her opponent after the duel and got even...not the type of sportsmanship we like to see here on American Gladiators...but you have to do what you have to do...and Falcon did..."
"See ya next week!"
(thanks Paula for the match...but wait til next time)

So, I went with my cousin Sara to the Bon Jovi/Daughtry concert this past Tuesday night....TOTAL BLAST!!!! Above is a sneak peek of video from when Daughtry came out and sang Blaze of Glory with Jon...Tons more pictures...but will have to add them later...

I thought of this phrase while in college...because it described what I did about 80% of the time. You may be thinking...this is such an oxymoron---the phrase...not me---let me explain it to you...I would be a productive procrastinator when I would have an assignment due the next day and as I am working on it, I would need another pencil...when I found the pencil in a drawer, I would decide to organize that drawer...this would lead to me choosing a cd to play and as I am deciding, feel the urge to ensure all of my cd's are in the correct cases...this would lead to another task and so on...my procrastination with my assignment would lead to productive outcomes in other areas...the overall assignment would be completed, but I would take several detours along the way...I have noticed that I still do it...I know what I should take priority, but I somehow still want to take all of my plastic bowls and match them with their lids before completing the assignment...If only I had the desire to do these tasks when I didn't have a project or something that is immediately due...

What does that mean really? Well, I have been for awhile...so, I haven't kept my personal pledge to write a blog frequently...I caught up on google reader today and my dear friend...Dreams of a Country Girl had like 13 blogs for me to read... Dreams 13 Feather 0...that would be the score if there was such a thing in the blogger world...maybe there is and I am about to be kicked off into the intramural sports...not to worry...my head is in the game now and I purpose to post more than I have in the last 2 weeks...look I think with this post I already have...

I can be a picky eater...I generally eat the same thing wherever I go...Taco Bell = 2 bean burritos with sour cream and mild sauce...Arby's = chicken salad wrap...and so on..I do venture on occasion...But, my dog is a picky eater too...I love my pets, but they do not buy the food. Here is Holden's bowl when I first feed him:

This is his bowl after he has sorted out the flavors he likes. He even likes to leave a few kibbles of the kind he doesn't like next to the bowl. I just pour the left overs back into the container, hoping eventually he'll eat it...
He's going to be real disappointed when all that is left is the kind he doesn't like. I did buy a different kind for him for the next go 'round...Hopefully he'll like it all...

OK, so every day (no exaggeration) for the last week I have heard a Tracy Chapman song in the car...I'm a scanner...I don't listen to the same station...It is so weird...Sometimes it's "Fast Car" and it has been "Give Me One Reason"...It's in the morning on the way to work, or at lunch, or on the way home, or to Target in the evening...I think it was Wednesday when it happened twice...today, I was in the car for like 15 mins running to Sonic before "Happy Hour" ended and there she is...

Has this ever happened to you...ok, maybe not Tracy Chapman specifically, but something like this...where you haven't heard a word or a song in forever...someone uses the word or you hear the song and after that point it's everywhere you turn? It's not even like she has a new song out or anything...I like these two songs, but come on now...maybe now that you have read this she will enter your radio for the next week and give me a break :)
